3. Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL)
Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL) earns the third position because it combines a surprisingly moderate earnings multiple with one of the strongest collections of AI assets in the world.
The company owns Google Search, YouTube, Google Cloud, Gemini, Waymo and a growing portfolio of custom AI processors. This creates several avenues for artificial intelligence monetization. AI can improve search results and advertising, attract cloud customers, increase subscription revenue, support autonomous transportation and reduce internal operating costs.
Google Cloud produced particularly impressive second-quarter 2026 results. Revenue climbed 82% to $24.8 billion, operating income more than tripled to $8.8 billion and the segment’s operating margin reached 35.6%. Cloud backlog increased to $514 billion, supported by strong demand for enterprise AI services and infrastructure.
Despite that growth, the shares traded at approximately $338.46 and only around 17 times trailing earnings. That valuation is lower than those of numerous slower-growing technology companies. Investors are clearly concerned that AI-generated answers could eventually weaken the traditional search advertising business.
That threat is legitimate, but the company controls its own leading AI models, enormous amounts of computing infrastructure and a distribution network reaching billions of users. It also generates enough cash to fund massive data-center investments without relying heavily on outside financing.
Its enormous market capitalization limits the likelihood of a rapid 10-fold return. Nevertheless, this is arguably the strongest risk-adjusted choice among the best AI stocks to buy now. It offers profitability, financial strength, multiple AI businesses and a valuation that does not appear to reflect the full growth of Google Cloud.
