With years of business experience under her belt, Tracy Curley is now using her skills to help iSpecimen grow. In an ever-changing market, she wants the company to succeed financially and expand its reach.
Being experienced in both public accounting and corporate finance, Tracy has had worked with a vast number of clients- from publicly traded companies to startups. Out of her 30 years in the field, she spent more than ten at national accounting firms before making her way to iSpecimen.
Tracy Curley began her impressive journey in 1989 when she became a staff accountant for an accounting firm. It didn’t take long before she started being promoted to senior roles at companies such as KPMG, PwC, Cabot Corporation and Houghton Mifflin.
Tracy was a partner at the accounting firm CohnReznick LLP before joining iSpecimen. At CohnReznick, Tracy led in developing an audit practice team for emerging markets that focused on recruiting private and public companies in both the technology and life sciences industries to receive audit services. The team quickly became one of the most successful practices within the firm because of Tracy’s direction.
Tracy was a partner at Marcum LLP. Her focus was on leading the high-tech practice in Northeast America with the goal of expanding Marcum’s client base. To help her achieve this, she provided private companies and public emerging growth companies within various industries – including technology, life sciences and advanced manufacturing – top-tier accounting and tax advisory services.
Prior to her current occupation, Tracy was a partner at Moody, Famiglietti & Andronico, LLP (MFA). The main crux of her work included recruiting and administering audit services to publicly traded small businesses. MFA is situated in Boston; however, their clients are located all over the world.
Curley cares about giving back to those around her and has served as president of the North Shore Technology Council, a board member of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, and Project Green Schools.
She is not only a licensed CPA in Massachusetts but has also obtained an Accounting Master’s degree and Business Administration Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting from Kansas State University. She even attended the United States Military Academy!
